Quadratic Graphs?
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Well, sin of anything gives you a sin-wave, and it's only points less than -.03 so it's going to be somthing like ...uuuuuuuuuuuuuuu... regardless right? I just dont see A: How to graph it with no "X" unless you substitute R for X but I doubt that's your intent and consequently B: The significance of 6cos or +50r.
I'm only in Geometry but I know that you should use y=mx+b

That's only for linear graphs, aka "straight lines". He's talking about a non-linear graph. As for the graph, assuming that R is X, then someone run this through QBasic:
y=mx+b
Screen 12
For R = 0 to 640
Y = (Sin (6 * cos * r + 50 ) ) * 3 / 4
Pset (R, Y), 15
Next
I don't even know where <-0.3 fits in unless it's a typo.
I tried that but it comes out absolutely tiny, mate. I don't know anything about qBasic my bro uses it, I just plugged that in and got a bunch of dashes and 'u' shapes at the top of the screen, which I guess is meant to be a graph of the function for values below -3?
To be honest I don't think Aod knew exactly what he was talking about when he posted.

Might you be able to post a screenshot. My QBasic is temporarily "unavailable". If someone has it, can they send me QBasic v4.5 or whatever one makes executables outta the *.bas.
OT: BTW Recusant, congrats on your first full year @ TLR. I'm barely into my fourth month.
