Looking for some Anime

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Looking for some Anime

Mainly sort of Mech anime, nothing stupid like Gundam but not as deep as NGE which I just finished for the second time, other good animes are appreciated, any others like EVA are very muc appreciated.

Patlabor. Relatively realistic enough. But it's not really a mecha anime, it's a drama about people which happen to drive mechs.

how about ghost in the shell? or cowboy bebop? they may not be true mecha, but are still pretty funky. i also share your pain in trying to find decent anime, without having porn sites thrown at you.

cheers

It was hardenough getting EVA. It's a shame the area of Scotland I live in has gasp TWO WHOLE ANIME FILMS on Retail of a major store, Ninja Scroll, (Which I enjoyed as an action film) and the film of Ghost in the Shell which I haven't bought.

I'll look into some of these. Thanks, oh and it doesn't neccesseraliy have to be mecha it's just I felt like seeing something similar to the Eva sequences in NGE, Asukas Last Stand comes to mind in the style but whatever.

When I say like NGE I mean in depth just fyi

try Blackstar who have a good selection of animé for the UK, most of the popular titles being readily available.

There are also a large number of online animé retailers, or if you have a multi-region dvd, buy from the US.

edit - but not from Ebay as most of its HK pirated Region "0"
