man i hate sports
this thread made me even more bored

I dislike sport too! I know that it is a strange attitude for an Australian, however I dislike a culture in which sportsmen are placed on a pedestal and paid enormous amounts of money for playing a sport. There are so many other people and professions that children should look up to, and instead we have a bunch of athletes who end up embarrassing themselves half the time by either testing positive for drugs, or getting into bar brawls, etc. At least, that's what the footballers are known for here in Aus!

im mean what about architects? if it werent for them, what would they live in?
what about plumbers? if there were no plumbers, no toilets!
what about teachers? we would all be stupid without them!

in my opinion all proffesional sport players must have maintained a 3.5 gpa throughout high school and college

I hate Manchester United. All real football fans do. I pretty much dislike the entire Premiership (seeing as my team will never have so much as a sniff of it) but Manchester United are universally loathed by all except the teenage southerners and middle-aged women who comprise it's fanbase.

of course were you tp tell me that you actually live in or around Manchester then its ok. But if you live in Essex or somewhere like that what the f? are you doing supporting MUFC other than gloryhunting? I support Stoke (oddly enough) never an easy task, but they're my local team and thats why i support them. I dont give a stuff if they never win anything .

a load of bull, its about which clubs have the most money to buy
the really good players. Most of them are foreign anyway.

To get back on topic, my favotite sports are rugby and soccer.
For rugby my favorite team is the All Blacks,
and for soccer I usually support the Dutch.
