No problem! Enjoy the sounds of Australia in your very own home! Actually, a lot of people do not even now the national anthem here in Aus. (I told you that no-one cares!) and of the people who do, they only know the first verse. Even fewer people know the second verse of the national anthem. It typifies Australia, don't you think?

I heard that it is Waltzing Matilda, don't know if its official, but it sure is a beautifull song, and it sure describes Australias nature

"Waltzing Mathilda" is touted as being the great original Australian song. I think I remember some people lobbying to have it replace the national anthem years ago, but it didn't happen. It's not a bad song, but is a bit TOO Australian for me. It "lays it on a bit thick" as they say.

I have heard of an "un" official song of "Down Under" by Men at Work

Never heard of it. Not that that's surprising as I don't listen to music.

@SpaceNut- Yeah, I wish that Clark wins so that Coleman can be appointed to some cabinet office and spread his evil thinner.

Forgive the type casting, but Crocodile Dundee 3 played it at the end. The song speaks of the man coming from the land down under.

Crocodile Dundee? *Shudder* He's almost as bad as the Crocodile Hunter! I hate that guy!

Yeah, i'd say Land Down Under would be an unofficial anthem for Australians. They pumped that song on the radio when we first nabbed the Americas Cup off the Yanks.

Mustang from Adelaide? Yup, that explaines alot of things......

Like my enormous wang? It's a well documented fact (Mustang's All Aussie Facts and Figures, $12.95 at your local bookstore) that South Australians are the most well endowed men in all of Australia. The heavy traffic in the other states shrivels em up faster than a dip in an Antartic swimming hole.
