This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Ugh...

I'm sitting here drowning in my own sweat, its 40 degrees C, my house is going through renovations so we don't have air conditioning or insulation, the only cooling device is my PC fan so I'm huddled up to that, I wont tell you what I'm wearing (or rather what I'm NOT wearing), and to top it all I'm typing this post and thus getting hotter...gah....."white christmas" indeed.

Christmas was a month ago...

Go an lie in the freezer - if you have a chest freezer... if it's upright... stand in it, and it it's one of those little ones at the top of the fridge... alternate your body parts in it!

my freezer is too full. I'd run a hose over me but there are water restrictions due to droughts.

Oh shi+e I just realised something! Australia has the worst hole in the Ozone layer over it, and to me it seems to get hotter every summer! This means in the future, Australia is gonna be the first to go! Noooo!

You only now just realised that? You should stay up-to-date old chum . Yeah well it was 37C yesterday in Melbourne, and you didn't here me complaining did you? Well you probably would have if I thought anybody arouind here cared . I despise hot weather, so I feel sorry for you. Have a glass of ginger beer, and take it easy.

Get you a couple of those blue freezer packs, after chilling overnight, wrap one around each arm and it will help cool you down. It's used here if you have heat exhaustion. Other wise, put a snowy wallpaper on your desktop and think happy thoughts..it does work...sometimes.

The "snowy wallpaper" idea might work in theory, although I doubt that Griff could make himself believe it because we don't have snow in Aus. (except for up in the mountains of course). How good is your imagination, Griff? And aren't those penguins outside your window?

Post Tue Jan 20, 2004 7:36 pm

I dunno if it would work, whenever I see snow I remember the guy who got a lump of snow and stuffed it down my pants while I was asleep on a school camp we had in the mountains once.

Although on a day like this that might be a good thing

40' eh? ah well, god bless england and our COLD WEATHER

Post Wed Jan 21, 2004 1:01 pm

Ah yes, the school camp. The best memories that I have from school are from the camps. The injuries, the poor food, the lack of amenities, the fights between students... ah, the camps had it all. Actually, I've repressed most of the memories from my schooldays. I'd tell you why, but I can't remember .

Bah. I wish it were hot here. I'm tired of the near-freezing weather I have to bumble around in. However, if I didn't have these damnable fevers perhaps I'd like it...

yea, well here in NZ it about 10 degrees C, the rain is
comming down in buckets and a southerly is blowing
at about 60K's so really its about 6 degrees outside.
This is normal weather except, it the middle of bloody
summer!! I swear we've done somthing to the atmosphere
to make the weather screw up this much.
They say it's gonna but fine tomorrow and for the next
few days but then its gonna turn s*** again.
yoyo summer I think they call it.

Well, its 27 deg F. here, and I would not trade it for anything. I am a cold weather person completely. But, it's 26 miles south of atlanta, so no snow.

To me the weather has warmed over the years from when I was little. Cold temp would be 5 deg F. Those were the days

Edit : Forgive my not remembering the conversion to C.
