This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Has anyone been following this farce? Oh, it's great. I love the American legal system . Nah, it's just that their arguments are SO unconvincing, that nobody has taken them seriously. Their latest ploy is that they taking on Novell for "Slander of Title"! I love it, it is so ridiculous! If you haven't been keeping up-to-date, then check out this link for some pdfs regarding the hilarious legal battle between SCO and Novell. They gave up on suing Linux, and now it's Novell. Who's next, Microsoft?
I follow it with wry amusement as a company that once had an enviable reputation and was universally admired, failed to keep up with the times and had to resort to pathetic litigation with no foundation in order to try to prolong its own existence for as long as possible. it looks and stinks of desperation. I read every instalment every week! bye-bye Sco..
'kin used to love Sco. If you could do Sco, you were the dog's b*ll*x. Employers would look at yer CV (resumé pan through it then they'd stop, look up at you and say, "oh, you're into a bit of Sco, are you?"
then usually take you to a storeroom where there'd be an ancient Sco-Unix server with about 8 SCSI drives in, and say, "fix that then.."
so who do you reckon will end up getting Sco when it eventually goes under? I mean, it's not like they're even worth a hostile takeover now; so that's Sun, otherwise the obvious choice, out of the picture. MS wouldn't be interested, totally different markets. Now Novell would be interesting as a potential Sco owner. Whadjoo fink?

I doubt it. Novell have their own Linux/Unix platform now that they have purchased SuSe, however I think that SCO's image has been so badly tarnished that no-one would buy them out. At least, not buy them out and keep the "SCO" name. I heard once that "SCO" stood for "Satanic Cultists' Organisation". I wonder if it is true?
just read that Sco are still trying to make all Linux users pay a licence fee, claiming that the Linux kernel is Sco's intellectual property...
what cr*p. Unix was invented in the 60s or 70s at Berkeley Uni, Calif. and has ALWAYS been open source. How can Sco possibly justify charging for something which they got for free anyway? it's hilarious. I hope I get a letter!
