I found something that some of you might be interested in. There is a Mod Team which is creating a Total Conversion of Max Payne into a Matrix game. Many people played Enter the Matrix, but most didn't like it and wondered why it wasn't more like Max Payne when it comes to graphics and gameplay. This Mod Team thought the same thing and are now working on a Mod called The Matrix Revolutions Mod.

The Matrix Revolutions Mod has cool features like:

-Fully Controlable Flying
-Kung Fu moves and other moves from the Matrix Series
-About 250 Animations
-Playable characters from the the movies, each having special moves (8 skins to play with, like Neo, Morpheus, the Twins etc.)
-About 20+ new maps (From the Matrix 1 , 2 , 3 )
-Gun Kata (from the movie Equilibrium...excellent movie btw

)
-Unlocking Feature which never has been done before
-New music made by there own music artist
-20 new weapons, 6 melee weapons (each having different attacks)
and a lot of other stuff which will take pages to write.

They also released 2 trailer movies which are just awesome to watch. Unfortunately they are only downloadable from Fileplanet (you need to register for free and then wait in line to download the files). But the movies are worth it, trust me

Holy mother of cr*p that looks great!
Good thing for me that its for the original Max Payne, since that's all I have.
But overall it's a shame they haven't managed to get it onto Max Payne 2 (just for the ragdoll physics mind you

)
Anywho, when all my exams are over that'll be the first thing on the agenda

More people asked about the fact why it's not for Max Payne 2. The creators said they already started quite a while back on this Mod and already have 70% complete or so and it would be stupid to just ignore all the hard work that has been done for months and to just walk away and start a new one for Max Payne 2. They said they are first going to finish this one and then they might focus on another one for Max Payne 2

Besides, Remedy has not yet released the Player Models Skeleton System, so that simply means they cannot do any animations and therefore no Kung Fu System.

I have been waiting for that Mod. The current Max Payne Matrix and Kung Fu Mod is quite good though.

that looks superb. I loved Max Payne and I didn't touch enter the matrix because of the negative reviews....looking forward to that beauty.

lol. tell ya what though...I'm not impressed with their version of trinity...she's certainly not the trinity I know and love!! Have a look !!! She looks more like Keanu than the Neo does...

I agree on the Trinity model grom, but they are still developing the Mod, so they might change the models a bit more or in case of Trinity, a whole lot more

@bom: Have you ever heard of Equilibrium ? It's an excellent movie for people who like martial arts, science fiction and basically it's for all Matrix lovers. It has a nice story, great action/fighting sequences (they use a whole new fighting technique in this movie, called Gun Kata) and has some nice futuristic scenery. It features Christian Bale (American Psycho) in the leading role (excellent performance imo) and a small role for Sean Bean (Boromir in LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring, Patriot Games etc.) and others as well of course.

they did it for the origional max paine and it took about a year
