This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I am here to discuss real naval vessels. There is one I really want to find out more about. I heard about a new type of Aircraft Carrier, the Ionic Class. Get this 2400 Ft. long with 5 launch rails. I was wondering if this was true.
I wouldn't put much faith in something like that being built....obviously the US navy probably gets handed a hundred sets of engineering plans a day from every major shipbuilder in the world, I bet the entertain building less than a tenth of the the plans they get, and then I bet less than 1% of those actually get approved for funding by congress.....to the best of my knowledge the US has 9 carrier groups in opperation around the world.....why they would want to replace any of these is beyond me....we hardly even need utilize these to their full capacity, usually just parking them on someones coast is enough to make them crap themselves....why would we need a bigger one? I'm going to assume that you heard about this from some low ranking naval enlisted that saw some picture he wasn't really supposed to see and blew it out of proportion.....
but what do I know .......
Good?....Bad?......I'm the guy with the gun.

I think what hes talking about is a proto-type featured in a popular mechanics magazine a few months ago. (It may not be popular mechanics but it sounded right, correct me if im wrong) It is bassically a huge floating military base that plans have been made for. What it would be used for would be to move it out to a area of conflict and "park" it their for a base in remote regions. I must say though the Navy has no plans what so ever to build this to the best of my knowledge. It was on the front cover of the magazine a while ago back.
