Bad guys in films and games.

What country do you reckon makes the best bad guys in films/games?

my vote is for germans and russians. mind you, i probably watch too many ww2/james bond films for my own good.

oooo Nazis deffo, followed by Reds (hey that's me!) and any military Black-Ops death squads (HL) and currently those dam' Skinnies in DF:Black Hawk Down (i just shoot any of them; women, kids, old men, they're all Skinnies)

britain by FAR.

I know its the ancient stereotype borne by ameircans but the british do make the best baddies. Be it Gary Oldman, Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing or whoever. Its something about a cool, calm, well spoken gentleman that makes a baddie.

well, only in Hollywood.

i'm fed up of Brits being the bad-guys in almost every dam action film that comes out of there, they even made Bond into a bad guy, which is unforgivable. if there's a stock English baddie i prob won't watch the dam film now.

Anyway, why do they never choose the bl**dy Welsh as bad guys, they're more "British" than we are? And why are there only two english accents, BBC-speak and Mockney? Lucas should have let Dave Prowse do all the Vader lines in his own delightful west Country accent..

Nazis always make good badguys, 'cause they're so easy to hate. And since you mentioned Half-Life, Taw, try Government men.
