This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

First take total control of the air and have a good network or spies in their government. Secondly, totally isolate their country. Form a massive blockade of the land and sea. Finally just start bombing the crap out of them, after a very heavy air campaign move in with overwhelming force from multiple fronts at once.
OK,A non-military way... this may take some time to cook up, let me go away and think about it..
:::Three Years Later:::::
1: Create a virus that constantly resets computers with specific coutry domain lines.
2: Impose an import ban of goods from said country.
3: Impose elaborate security measures to stop citizens of said country entering yours.
4: Send a declaration of war to said country's known enemies - let them destroy the country for you. May prevent you from taking over though.
5: Rig an election in said country to elect a govt. friendly to yours.
6: Drop leaflets on said country accusing their govt. of false and real atrocities against it's own people.
7: Blockade their ports (if they have any) with fishing boats.
They are in the order I thought of them, not the suggested order of execution.
As a freelancer one encounters some strange stuff - in the the end, however, you always remain the strangest thing you are ware of.

Nerve gas. So underused. So underestimated.
The buildings remain intact. Most of their supplies are still usable.
It clears away in a week. 100% casualty rate. Cheap too.
Just wait till the nervegas clears away, then station troops and the country is yours... FWAHAHAH-COUGH. What's that mist coming in the window...?
"Dragons. They don't scare me.
Insectivores, aren't they...?"

Marty, if one can tailor make a virus to kill livestock/crops, wouldn't it be easier to make one killing humans, only contagious for 3-5 weeks.
1: stage fake terrorist attacks on population
2: Gain air-superiority
3: bomb all major population centers + military bases with virus
4: cut off UN aid
5: blockade country totally, no one in or out
6: sit tight and wait for virus to expire (3-5 weeks)
7: move in troops to clear out rural communities etc.
8: move in people, gain 1 country + supplies

Air Power rests at the apex of the first triad of victory for it blends mobility flexibilty and initive. ~ Col. Corazon Santiago
For me I like the idea of subeversion coupled with slow creeping air superiority and taking of fringe outposts and then pushing the final stroke as the end to a civil war with an army of mutants!!1!! mWHJHAhahAHAHHAHA!!!

There is no Silicon Heaven! But where do all the calculators go ?
You could no more evade my wrath... than you could your own shadow!
