Reading the subject I literally had no idea what this topic was about? I was thinking baseball pitchers or water pitchers. But yes FL pictures are better for the same reason Movies are generally more interesting than real life, because nobody wants to be bored doing something simulating reality, it should be better than reality. Imagine being a real space Freelancer, the long hauls in the black of space for long periods of time ... boring.
