Hockeeeeeeeeey!!!!
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

ok.. let me clarify for those confused.
taw is right where he says that they(includin me ) have owned this particular argument.
soccer = american football = rugby = soccer
football = THE football, fussball,
this is a FACT
thus, american football is to be referred to as rugby or soccer , NOT football
in response to parabolix's question.. i have only watched one game of hockey, and not 2 seconds of it in my life.

Edmonton Oilers have had the best team of all time (even though they suck now)...mind you, they won 5 straight Stanley Cups...and had the player with the all time record in points in one season...Wayne Gretsky, 215 points, 92 goals, 123 assists.

RILMS, I mean: no discussions wether it is hockey or ice-hockey, or wether it is soccer or football. Just to clear things up

@parabolix,
Montreal, not nessacairly the Canadians, have won the cup 24 times. The Canadians have won the cup 14 times, the first being 1916 and the most recent 1993.
No where in my book on Canadian history (including hockey stuff) does it say Edmonton won 5 cups in a row. I see 84-5, 87-8, 90.
And Edmonton may of had the Great one, but we had The Rocket.
@ Wiz,
Oops, /is embarist.

Have you never heard of the Richard Riot???
I havn't heard of any Gretzky Riot. It's all about the Habs mate, all about the Habs.
And besides, the Rocket was never traded away from the Habs, unlike the great one.
It was also a Canadian, Jacques Plante, who was the first goalie to ware a face mask on a regular basis.
