Sore shoulder

Every day when I wake up in the morning, I get a really sore shoulder, most likely from sleeping on one side too long. But no matter how much I try and lie on my back, or try to avoid moving on to my shoulder it always gets sore in the morning and lasts for hours afterwards. Does anyone else ever get that?

Lol ff, be gentle, he has a sore shoulder you know. well, probably not for to long

Ohh, sorry drifting a bit of topic here.
My arm sometimes goes num when I sleep. It's because I lay on it (don't ask). Then I wake up in the middle of the night trying to turn over without breaking my arm. Realy weird fealing not to be able to move your arm. Weird also when the blood starts to flow back into your arm a little later, it's all tingly and all, but it sometimes hurts.

But a sore shoulder? never. I did have a sore head once, but that might have been because of something else. Some say I still have one.

Also, I always get these lines acros my face and body because the sheets on wich I lay fold underneath my body and leave imprints on my skin. Realy weird.

Edit: Damn spelling.

no never had that .........but then the voices in my head tell me not to sleep in that position

You've probably damaged your shoulder doing something else and your sleeping position is aggrivating it. Same thing happened to me, I threw my shoulder throwing my nephew up in the air and catching him again. It wasn't really all that noticable until I went to bed cause I like to sleep with one arm hooked underneath my pillow and my head resting on top. When i'd wake up, my shoulder would be incredibly stiff and painful to move. It healed up in about 2 -3 months but if you want to speed up the process then I'd see a physiotherapist.

Add more pillows under your head. The height of the pillow heap must equal the distance between the side of your head and your shoulder. This way, your arm/shoulder won't bear the entire bodyweight, but share the load with your head and spine. And make sure you use pillows not too fluff. Sleep using harder pillows that won't 'sink' too low when you apply force to it (by resting your head on it)
