PCs: Should YOU Upgrade?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

@Esq:

Ditto to Stinger.

Maximum PC. Best computer subscription I ever bought both for info and for entertainment.

Another Maximum Pc reader yes I am not alone

Demouser: I have no wish to join the play, but rather to see it enacted. My only concern is to avoid having the lands of Microsoftia bare down on myself.

Spammers: have C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DATA\AUDIO\MUSIC\music_failure.wav playing back in ther head when they visit TLR

Mods have C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DATA\AUDIO\MUSIC\music_victory.wav playing in their heads every time they remove Spammers

@Geek

There probably are many more readers than you know. Most folks are too embarrassed to admit to reading it. Don't know why.

@Stinger:

Bathroom reading? Does that mean the buzzer goes off once you walk out with it? (a Seinfeld joke, sorry)

PB/Blaze - That's the nature of the industry. The hardware lifecyle is currently set at six months, and after that you are "out of date". That's why I created this thread; because purchasing the above technologies (when they become affordable and mainstream), may allow people to keep their computers for longer, and thus save money by not having to upgrade as often. It's a slim chance at best, but "buying for the future" as they call it is the only option.

Taw - That's good to know . I've found that different people's views on technology are often very subjective, and thus it is always wise to acquire as many opinions as possible.

Indy - I seriously doubt that I could acquire a subscription to Max. PC down here in Australia, mainly because I have never seen nor heard of it. "Atomic" is supposed to be good though...
