This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Rush of Blood to the Head - Coldplay

Friggin great album, plus Chris Martin got to nail and marry Gweneth Paltrow, so you gotta give him an extra 10 points for that

Hmm, I guess mine would be "Scandinavian Leather" by Turbonegro.
It's good to have Hank von Helvete back, real good.

Gweneth Patlrow, hmm, I alway get the fealing she breaks of at the hips when the wind blows over 10 MPH.

Anyway, the best album I bought this year would be Escapolagy from Robbie Williams. It's just a good album.
And the Queen Live at Wembley '86 DVD. The complete gig, not the short version. It went gold in Holland a few days ago, Yay for Queen

Edit: Damn spelling.

Daft Vader - I am your father.
sS - Noooooooo! I demand a DNA-test.

oO dimmu. Not a fan but their new video rocks. That is some tight playing.
Also, I concur with Nickless. Robbie is cool

I didn't buy a CD in the whole of 2003. While I thought some tunes were good, the one from Evanescence, and some others heard on the radio from time to time, I can't stand recent music. I haven't been able to tolerate it for the past 3 years. With minor exceptions.

The only good trend I see so far, is the inclusion of female artists into harder rock genre. However, do they all have such crap voices?

disturbingly Arcon's choices were the only 3 albums I actually bought this year. isn't that scary?

and just look at those excellent Morrison's bargain prices. yet another "more reason"

In reverse order......

#3: "Permission to Land" - The Darkness

#2: "Fallen" - Evanescence

#1: "St Anger" - Metallica

So there - anything by Michael Jackson, Boy Bands or Girl Bands goes straight in the rubbish bin.

As a freelancer one encounters some strange stuff - in the the end, however, you always remain the strangest thing you are ware of.

god I hate the Darkness *ducks*

I like Radiohead and Coldplay's contributions this year, but I think my top 3 of 2003 are (in no particular order)...

Kings of Leon - youth and young manhood
Turin Brakes - ether song
Jamie Cullum - twentysomething

with a special mention to...

The White Stripes - Elephant

@zlo - it amused me that you picked a Cradle of Filth album. I worked with them for over 2 years and my best mate is still the LD on their tours - Rich Wolfgang - he's probably on their album sleeve somewhere, have a look. He also appears on their last DVD looking extremely ****ed. Nice guys, but terrible terrible music....but thats only my opinion.
