i just recieved a call on my mobile from an 'unknown location' and then had an urge to dial random phone numbers in the ashford area. you probably think im nuts, but whats new eh?

anyone else had something like this?

som1 must have a *certain* caller id thing
my friend has something that when ur caller id pick it up it says something like that

when my friend calls me it says something like that on my caller id (unkown caller)

if the number is coming up "unknown caller" and u have caller ID enabled, then the number is being withheld at the other end, or u just have never entered the number into the phone's memory like ff says. If the phone doesn't have a memory then the number is being withheld.

All the phantom calls I receive are from businesses, so now I never answer one that doesn't say who it is from. I love caller ID.
