I'd really like it if it was "Mad World" which I think is an excellent cover, and not what most folk would expect as a Crimbo #1. The Darkness song is ok but it's nothing special, everything else is total sh*te including the Bo Selecta one, which I'm rather ashamed of; why oh why did he do it?

i agree about mad world being good and would be quite happy if it was #1 for all of jan. but its a bit depressing for xmas #1 slot

every year musical artits battle to have their song as #1 in sales on christmas day. The chart is decided every sunday after weekend sales have gone through so the deciding song will be announced at the end of tomorrow.

I personally want madworld to win, and was tempted to buy it, but i have it on MP3 anyway so it didnt seem much point

Oh, ok. We have nothing like that, just a top 100 of the best songs this year and a top 100 of the best songs ever, also a top 1000 and 2000 of the best songs ever. All different charts btw, made up by the listners of the different radiostations.
Except the 100 best of this year, that's determined by ranking positions they achieved and the number of weeks they stayed on the charts.
