Maybe Arcon TV should have 'viewing hours' or some sort of schedule instead, so peeps wouldn't sit stairing at a blank screen wondering why it aint working???

wow, i get more posts when its black than when theres actually hot bikini babe action going on.

ANyway, i went to bed early last night, i was watching TTT and i fell asleep so i went to bed (turning into my dad). A quick rule of thumb, if the screens black it means the camera's ON but the light is OFF or the Camera WAS ON took a picture of black then i turned it off. The same picture for hours at a time means the camera is OFF.

if the camera is off, there will be a picture of the last thing it sees until its back on...simple.

Back on with the show...

Indy, I'll have to recreate the whole thing with some Action Men (GI Joe's to u) some Airfix armoured vehicles and some of the cat's fur for Saddam's beard.

U gotta admit, that was one hell of a beard he was sporting. I wouldn't have recognised him, except maybe as an arab Father Christmas. Although he did look an awful lot like some of the tramps who sleep in our village square.

Arch, y are u happy at home and not at college? I used to hate going home from uni, I eventually got a halfway decent p/t job just so I could afford to stay, and not have to go home and suffer me mam and dad wittering away and getting on me t*ts.

Figures. That's Action Figures. Don't know about your side of the pond but, in some parts of my town, Action Men might be taken to mean ... well, something a little more "preference" oriented than what you may want to have ascribed to you.

Reminds me of a Saturday Night Live skit from the early days with John Belushi.
He played a ponced up pirate ship's captain and proclaimed to newly captured
sailors: "We only want manly men on the Raging Queen!" ... if you get my drift.

yeh I'm sure it's not hard to find plenty of "action men" in NYC of a an evening! but, mundanely, here in our parochial shores, the name merely signifies a children's toy.

I'm going to Shrewsbury on Saturday (bad cold willing) the big question being, will I see Archie? if i do, shall I surprise him with a stealth attack? or should I pretend no knowledge of him, or bubble him up to the police for shoplifting? What if he sees me first and does the same? I'm going to have to go in disguise, I think.

Definitely in some kind of mufti. You could get your squad of AMs to mount an attack on the Raptor or something to boot. Would be fun to watch on ATV.
