Call to arms fo the die-hard space-sim fan

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Call to arms fo the die-hard space-sim fan

Please take a look here. This guy want's to make a space-sim and is ready to receive a lot of input from us gamers.

I say this is a good chance to tell the devellopers what we really want and he's waiting for us to tell him so grab you chance.

yea saw the post in fl discussion still dont fully know what the guy wants for input opinions on fl he only has to read the boards

The guy only ever made that one post. How does he intend to do such a thing with our support with us having no prior knowledge of his capabilities? If Chips were to ask something like that, I would believe he would really do it.

/what sS said

If he's really gona do it, than he'll have all the input he can handle and doesn't need any more from me

That children is why the majority of your parents don't vote!

Post Sat Dec 06, 2003 5:55 pm

And if every one thought like that WB nobody would give input

Anyway, I signed up and tend to ask as much questions as I can so I can get an impression of what kinda game it's gonna be; FL style or not at all.

Check out his site you unbelievers, he's near his first test (Alpha test) so he must be somewhere.

@WLB: the majority of my parents? i have TWO parents. in order to have a MAJORITY you need over FIFTY PERCENT. seeing as how FOFTY PERCENT is ONE parent, and i only have TWO, the MAJORITY would be BOTH of them, and i know that they BOTH vote ANYWAY.

i'd like to question your bogus source

maaate, its not like i didnt spot that thing like STRAIGHT AWAY. monday morning i'm gonna be in that suckka's office getting me a J.O.B.

hopefully. but i dunno, the engine looks kinda like ass. So i dont wanna invest all my ideas in someone ELSES opus cause my game is gonna be beautiful. y'see ever since homeworld and starlancer, i figured space has gotta stop looking so black and should look ORANGE instead.

I'm not sure what the hell is games supposed to be about though either, i mean solely multiplayer games bite bawls, they seriously do. Gimmie a thoroughly good singleplayer any day of the week. SURE its cool playing multiplayer, but you dont want the core game to be multiplayer. its why i love starlancer so much more than freelancer. because the single player is actually good. so my space-opus is ALL about the single player, it'll HAVE multiplayer but it wont be ABOUT the multiplayer. And its high time someone did something new with space multiplayer, like add some fun to it. MAN i got all these ideas, but i want them to be original when I make a game. Meh, i got plenty of time, i think i can spare one or two, its not like i'll be making my own game anytime soon, i still gotta climb the ladder in the games industry and ive STILL gotta go work for LucasArts.
