Anyone ever Brought the FL 3D glasses??

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

And then what?
You can't play the game with those thingy's, you can't wear them on the streets because you will be restrained in one of those white jackets with the arms around the back they use in mental hospitals for difficult patients and you will be put inside one of those mental hospitals in one of those padded rooms where you can't damage anything except chew through the padding and there are so far only three pics wich are also available in normal colors.

So tell me, why do you want them???

I'm confused (whats new ), from the reviews i was under the impression that the software that comes with them converts any game into 3D - kinda acts like a new monitor driver with a twist. Did I miss something? Is this complete fabrication?

EDIT: It turns out I was right - check out the review - or skip to the last page for an interesting "conclusion".

I once tried playing FL with night-vision goggles. it wasn't particularly successful!

Post Fri Dec 05, 2003 2:17 pm

lol, Why do you wanna do that

Post Fri Dec 05, 2003 2:23 pm

seemed like a good idea at the time, when i got a pair of night vision goggles.

Well, the pics defently require 3D glasses.

@Taw, I understand the logic. At night you see the stars, that is when you need nightvision. In space you see the stars, so you thought you needed nightvision. You didn't happen to look directly into any bright stars with those things on did you?

i just wondered if i switched the lights off and watched FL with me nighters on if it would look cool. it didn't, it just looked like a load of green vomit, made me ill it did.

Post Fri Dec 05, 2003 7:25 pm

Well, that might be because the screen actually emmits light by itself.
And if your night-goggles enhance that light, it's a wonder you didn't go blind

Wow, if you did go blind I'd put you up for a Darwin award for this

oh ha ha ha yes I am just a little bit aware the screen emits light, i just didn't realise how much the goggles intensify the light; no i didn't go blind cos i ripped em off and uttered various epithets beginning with f, b, t and w several times. And yes i know what a Darwin award is thank you very much, it was in the way of an experiment. U never know until u find out for urself.

Post Fri Dec 05, 2003 8:13 pm

Well, thanks Taw, you saved me an experiment, the expenses on those goggles and a pair of half burned eyes. I kept wondering what it would be like
