games better from Freelancer?!

do you know if any space games that are better from freelancer?

I am new to this kind of games {I played some back in the 90s}

I usualy play warcraf2/3,starcraf,redalert2,ag-of-empiers,Empire-Earth ...
age-of-wonders2,civ3

Doom,Quake,HL,Unreal ...

sport specialy soccer games: fifa200x

Diablo/2

do u have other kinds of games that u can suggest {beside max-payne

}

There's not really a helluva lot out there in terms of space games. You could try Starlancer which is the (sort of) prequel to Freelancer, it is a very linear game but still lots of fun. Or you could wait around for X2: The Threat but it remains to be seen if X2 will be any good.

I got Freespace 2 and I like it. It's a space sim, but nothing like Freelancer.
To be honest, I don't think there is any game like Freelancer.
I go with Mustang and say wait for X2, or maybe you're one of the lucky few who live in the USA, you can get it already.

I know someone in the ol US of A who says X2 is all and more that its supposed to be - however, its not MP playable.......yet (yet?).

Puts a big dampner on it - they must make it MP playable at some point mustn't they?

No, X2 The Threat is not MP. They will be bringing out an X2 Online Universe later, but I think that you pay monthly fees to play that. MMO type thing (I think)

I don't know, because I haven't played X2 yet. But if I'm correct, I beleive X2 is a different game: kind of a RTS in space. Can someone help me out here?
