This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

@SnS:

But not reviewed by the principal StfS member in question?

@Nickless, well up until recently when Hotmail increased their spam blocking, I had almost 1.8 MB of the 2.0 MB of space devoted to all the spam. Some other people just don't know how to get rid of old emails nor do they know they can save them on their HD instead of taking up email space.

@Indy, if he doesn't want to post here, he doesn't have to. 40% of the positive feedback I've received has been through the email. Not everyone posts in this thread. For one main reason I think ... I didn't name the subject header "Reynet - The Prince of Starfyre." I felt that would have been pushing it just a tad too far with all those it regards. So I had to suffer not everybody seeing the thread or not being able to find it as easily later to respond.

Hi sS,
I'm new here at TLR, but you can send the play to my mail here:
[email protected]

@Norse, I sent Reynet to you. Let me know if it doesn't show. And here are the links to all my plays in case you want to read the preceding hilarities that are referenced on a few occasions in this play. Though reading them is not necessary to get an understanding of this story.

I hope you enjoy it!

@Norse from Norge,

I am thrilled that a new arrival to our forums was able to enjoy my play about some of the events that occurred here. Thank you.

I just want to add that I've read all the plays, and they are very (!!!!) good !!! After reading the thread about Elite, I went to Ian.Bells homepage and read his stuff (including the article from the Guardian that somebody posted). Well, to make a long story short, I sent him an email, and said that I liked what he had done and so on, pluss that I copied a link to 'Zlothello' in the mail (I like a good story!!!). Told him so, hmmm - I hope he won't think I'm pestering him, or worse. That was not my intention.

@Norse, I'm pleased you liked my other plays, but what are you talking about with the Elite and Ian Bells stuff?

Sir S

@Elite - the game that all space-sims are compared to (probably because of nostalgia). Well, first I read an old thread about space-sims, and somebody mentioned a link to Ian.Bells homepage (one of those who wrote 'Elite'). It's here BTW: http://www.iancgbell.clara.net/
After I read his homepage, I sent him an email, told him that he was great etc., and included FL. As a sidenote I added a link to Zlothello, said it was a great story. End of email, I sent it, and I hope he won't get annoyed (first email to him, don't want to p*ss him off you see).

-In a Corsair Titan. Yeah, I know it turns like a drunk cow, and so what?

I knew what Elite was, I just didn't know how it pertained to me or how it was you were referencing it. Now I know.

From his perspective it might seem a bit strange to get a link to a play on a forum out of the blue.

Yes, thus I included that I hoped that I wasn't annoying. Didn't want to make it seemed like a ton of bricks appeared 'out of the blue' Maybe he'll even answer me too !!! (max. three exclamation-marks, duly noted...)
BTW, I like the smileys on this message-board (Off-Topic note in a forum for off-topic posts...)
