believe me if i could ever get my Mrs to agree to let me go off on my own for a few weeks i'd be in Japan like a shot (well more like a passenger on a plane, cattle-class) and i'd take me boy too. but the chances of her agreeing are so slim that i'd have more becoming God-Emperor of Arrakis (in other words none) still if i can bring her round we'll be there next year, although it's looking suspiciously like Tunisia to me. I was really looking forward to using a musical sparkling toilet after i'd dined on whale sushi yum-yum

get into a cargo bay of a plane heading towards florida
then get into a raft with a bunch of refugees and let mother nature take u wherever the wind blows and the water flows and mountain dew comes in a bag instead of a can or bottle

Well how much time are you taking off? Is the lady also feeling awkward about the language? That's what usually does it in the end. Well, you might try exposing her to the local news.... in english... for a while. It might make the place seem less intimidating, you never know.

Thanks for all the ideas, this is the first time ive been on since last night so ill answer all your questions here. first of all im from Indiana in the states. Secondly this is just a little senior trip were taking at the end of our summer. Were actually going to be coming back the week before our senior year takes off.
