I think its the height of arrogance when you rate your friends like that to be honest. who the **** wants to know as well. sure youve got friends you see occasionally and theyre not in your tight circle who you see many times a week, if not every day, theyre the people you first ring when you want to goto the pub, stuff like that, so the concept really isnt that strange, what is strange is to go to someone and tell them that they dont cut it.
I would compare it to say, theres this girl you like and havent told her but you secretly pine for her at class or whatever, then out of the blue she comes up to you and says "by the way, i think your hideous, i would NEVER go out with you if you asked me so just dont"
ok thats what she may be thinking but who cares about that, SHUT THE HELL UP AND DONT TELL SOMEONE TO THEIR FACE YOU RUDE MOTHER F****R!

Before you ask, no this happened only once with a girl (not a gf, she is a friend of me sisters)

fact is I don't keep "spare friends". I have friends and if you want as long as you like

Geez, I didn't know there were lists of friends!
There are like 2-3 guys I regularly drink with, we've known each other for ca. 10 yrs or so (one of 'em is my former student ), the rest are just friend. Neither worse nor better - it's just that I don't know them that well.

Just remember...if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

Yeouch, that's gotta hurt. I would find that insulting coming from anyone, let alone someone you consider a good friend. RILMS if I were you I would just cut off all contact, no-one needs to be spoken to like that.

I don't have A-lists or B-lists for friends, I just have wish lists ... ... ... I hate myself.

anyways.. i've looked at myself in the mirror and more than once throught i don't rate "A" as some call it.

as for A grade friends.. the entire TLR is on my A-list... a.k.a. coolest ppl on the planet list in my msn. (well TLR = coolest ppl on the planet)

@kimk: how many times do I have to tell you to learn to like,even love yourself! (geez, how many "to's"! )
ALL people on TLR are the coolest in the world? Not to speak of some that proved NOT to be cool at all, do you know EVERYBODY on TLR (it's said there's some 2 million visitors)? And, finally, how about folks that are NOT on TLR? Anyway, time for me to stop moralizing
