Abandon Loader and VDMSound

Here´s a tool for you guys to play your old DOS games in Windows XP. Of course there already were other tools like this for Win 9x/Me, but not so much for XP.

Abandon Loader provides a front-end interface designed to maintain compatibility and simplify configuration of old DOS games on modern PC's. Requires Win9x/2000/XP.


There is already a list with games included, but of course you can also include your own DOS games like Privateer and Wing Commander and such.

I also recommend downloading VDMSound (Recommended for NT/2000/XP), which can be downloaded at the same site.

This driver emulates old sound cards, i.e. Sound Blaster and Adlib.

i downloaded the full version of privateer, i cant make it work
