sensible choice. get a Hauppage WinTV PVR (but make sure u don't get the wrong one, they come in digital AND analogue flavas)

edit - by the Arch u never said if ur tv signal is cable or aerial. i think on the ATi uv got if u don't tell it the rught conn type it doesnt come up with anything in that box. if ur on cable u should just be able to autoscan from the same dialogue, i dimly recall. also u have to select PAL/UK. did u try running a VCR thru it like i said? thats how i've set them up before, they use them for cctv mintoring in our warehouse, but its been a while.

nah, ive tried all the settings i can get my hands on, and unfortunately, i cant get my hands on a vcr
