Wow, All-state. you must be really good.

Well to honestly say, I don't play an instrument for myself Although I can (barely)
read notes.
I did play Piano on the schools music lessons and was rather good at it and I can get a few notes out of a guitar.

i, erm, attempt to DJ, although my room at uni is small so i dont have my decks with me

hey, a thread about music, hmm. Nice.

Yeah I sing, under the shower. that's about it.
I was forced to play the piano when I was 8 and when all the kids were playing soccer, but I got over it.
Today I actually think the piano is a great instrument, just as the guitar, wich rocks ()

i hate the piano
my sister plays it when im on the computer so thats how i came to hate it

at first i wanted to be a drummer, but after what i head about how the band teacher treated the drums i said NO WAY!!
i sucked really bad until i got lessons with a person that led some of the best bands in montana
i had a problem with my lip for playing, but thats nothing a broken wrist cant fix
funny tho. when i broke my wrist i could not play for five weeks. but when i got back to playing the lip problem magically disapeared.
and i had to miss the jazz swing concert i was supposed to be in but i hadnt practiced enough because of my wrist (i had to try out for that band) but he mentioned my name durring the concert and there was an encore
but this year i will make it to that concert. (i made it this year too)

I love most instruments btw. But i'd see myself playing the piano and/or guitar someday.

I also love live music no mater what it is. or it must totaly suck.

Well, I play french horn. I like it. I'm rather good at it.

And band at our school is rather fun. (Plus, it's easy to get a 98% at the end! )

And I play a little bit of self-taught piano.

Something else is, I'd like to learn how to play the oboe, strangely enough.

Well, I've been playing classical violin for 10 years; (I started at four). I try to spend a few hours each day on it, but it gets tough with all these honors classes and whatnot

I would love to go pro, but it's extremely difficult to do. Anybody here with any connections...help me out

I play trombone in band at school. Used to do Jazz band too, and THAT can be really fun. Marching season is nice too

I play guitar nowadays, but I can also play bass guitar, drums, piano, mandolin, blalalaika, harmonica and I dabbled with the sax when I was younger.

I don't think I can play any of them well, but my friends think otherwise, personally I think they're all really easily impressed.

I'm always impressed by anyone who can play with a bow....I tried the violin a few years ago and could not get my head around it at all.
