1. How doez thiz rankin system on the Forumz work (i.e. I am 2nd Ltj)?
2. There r many "Lancers" websites. Where doez the name "Lanmcer" come from?

The more posts you can reply to effects the higher the rank
you can be given, however flaming detracts from the rank.

@grom, no i don't get it..

as for using lancers, i think its just that it sounds cool. its meant to be a whip-like weapon i think.

A lance, isn't it a spear or something?

I don't know what it means in the word Freelancer...The free I can understand, I'll ask dictionary.com...

lancer:

1. A cavalryman armed with a lance.
2. A member of a regiment originally armed with lances.

3. lancers (used with a sing. verb)
a. A kind of quadrille.
b. The music for this dance.
