As far as I know LL is American and had a few lessons in the German Language.
Big Deal, I know German Too, and I am Dutch.

There are more on these Forums That know german but the pint is those sigs of his point in no direction, he got it from a dictionary program(!). that translates a wee bit too literally and each time he has sth new, a german speaking user gets the true meaning out of it.

If you are indeed offended by him then talk to him.

here here, for god sake, no one is impressed. its like loosers who post pretencious handles in MSN messenger. sure you do it once in a while, or if youve been rejected by a girl, but COME ON!!! enoughs enough.

Wierd sigs is a rather open field. It's kind of arbitrary. Let Larry have his fun; ignore him.

Yeah, that's what most people find to be the best solution.

As for the mis-translated German sigs, that's something I started doing with a friend of mine who lives near Hamburg... at the time, he didn't speak English, and we both had to use the translator program to communicate, usually with remarkably poor effectiveness, which usually turned out to be as funny as hell.

Nope and nope... I'm NOT american - I have health care. I'm Canadian, and I've never actually had any German lessons, other than a few poorly-learned lessons I got from my German ex-girlfriend.

sigs are supposed to be peronsal, so really he can right whatever he wants in there. i don't know what that says, but i'd say as long as its not insulting there really should be no problem with it

so what if it's weird or doesn't make sence! what's the big freakin deal?

As FF said, you have free reign in sig territory. Just as long as it's not offensive, politcally charged or racist, you can put whatever you like in there.

If we had to ban eveything that people disliked, then we wouldn't be able to let anyone post here at all. Im going to lock this thread off as it's purpose has been served.
