The ever increasing numbers of *CLICK*s

Well, Fear Factor, bakedpatato and myself were given this position, because TLR forums needed more focus and moderating than it did before. The moderators have real lives too and therefore are not able to watch everything 24/7. Because of this, certain threads or people might slip through their attention and therefore they stay open. So because there are 3 new moderators now, we can work more in shifts so to speak (mainly because of the time difference between the countries of the mods) and TLR can be moderated more extensive. And yes, this also means you'll be seeing more *clicks*, but these threads needed closing anyhow.

Hope is the quintessential human delusion, simultaneously the source of our greatest strength and our greatest weakness.

Well, i've also noticed it (its a VERY lot of em') but, heard of our latest ManHunt after "Hey"?
That increased it a lot! Our "sources" say that he was banned from gametalk.com, so, he came here to SPAM, SPAM and don't forget to SPAM

Orillion, what happened to you during that Hey fiasco? You were with us, then you started reading and posting in other threads as normal. We were hoping to hear some great taunts when you brought out your flame thrower.

As for clicks, in the last 30 days on the Freelancer Discussion there have been 25 of them. The majority of them being Freelancer 2/addon threads. Now that's funny. And probably was necessary.

When a moderator locks a thread, they often give a reason for why they do it. After their explanation, the say " *click* " to signify the thread is now closed.

A "click" is a term meaning "to close a thread." So if I were to ask Eraser to click this sucker, he might just close the entire thread. Preventing anymore posting on it. (Eraser, it's only an example, don't get click-happy).

The clicks have gone up due to the new moderators, mainly Fear Factor. He's doing his job well.

Me or my pc? me, since I got home from college 4 hours ago (on and off, doing various other stuffs - surfing, typing homework, watching that ST Voyager rerun, and dinner). The pc usually stays up all night and day with at least one browser opening TLR.
