These pix taken today by a family member. Who says mother nature doesn't have talent? These were taken in Ohio, USA tonight at dusk. These are high hurricane clouds from Isabel at sunset. I might use a couple of these as desktop backgorunds.

Off topic: Hi Stinger, remember "that" thread in FL General Editing? you posted something like "THIS is why. Read the whole thread" but you linked it to this photo gallery. I was flattered that you came and rescued me but I don't think hurricane pics are relevant to that thread

On topic: the last pics, when were they taken? was it really already dark or is it stormcloud?

@FF, the last few pix are as the sun is going down below the horizon. This effect on high clouds is very rare indeed. Conditions need to be perfect.

BTW, I fixed the link in "that" thread.
