Did anyone catch this?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Did anyone catch this?

This article seems to be popping up in a number of locations, in different guise of course.
I certainly hope it's just Ati and Valve doing a bit of media showboating to make Nvidia look inferior in the DX9 department. Otherwise I am going to feel like a right chump for shelling out my hard earned dinero on an FX5900 considering the performance difference.

Looks like a shifting in the market. Wich is good, it ecourages NVidia to make even better stuff. In time they will catch up with ATI and then ATI will need to improve it's stuff. imho

I watched both videos and I must say that they are really looking great.

To be honest I don't understand all the fuzz about 35 or 40 FPS. It's not like you can impress men (or women) with it. Can you picture it? You walk into a bar and you say to this person: Hey, you wanna check out my 40 FPS Half-Life 2?

Off course, it's suprising to see that ATI finally scored better in a benchmark. I, however, are happy with my NVIDIA cards and this benchmark isn't going to change my opinion.
