I saw Christian Bale in Equilibrium yesterday (because Arcon mentioned this movie). The movie is incredibly similar to The Matrix and Minorty Report (a combo of those two I would say), but quite a nice one I might add. Very grim atmosphere and excellent fighting and especially gun fights. He portrayed his character in Equilibrium convincingly and so did he in American Psycho (from the book of Bret Easten Ellis). I think he´s a good choice for Batman as he can really portray dark figures so to speak.

I've only seen him in American Psyco and Shaft.....not a bad choice for Batman though, he should suit the role well. Plus a Bruce Wayne that kills co-workers for having a better business card has got to be a plus.

I'm afraid I haven't seen anything with Mr. Bale in it, but the buzz generally seems to be good, which is a good sign. Plus they could've done much worse in terms of Bruce Wayne's actual appearance, of which Bale would be the closest yet in movie form, I think.
