And when I played it, the movie loaded and then it crashed because I have XP.
Its so annoying.

I played it on my friends computer (Windows 98), and it worked fine, I mean great. Its an amazing game.

Is there a way to get it to work on XP

there is probably a windows xp compatability patch, if not then maybe its your computer

if elites still down tonight ill load it on an xp machine and see if it runs
i bought it for a fiver as well at the same time i bought fl and needless to say its not been out the box
well if i can find the disc !

Well, i turned the resolution to 800x600 instead of 1280x800 and it worked. Sort of, it played once then crashed the next time! Very fun game.

It said something about an error with "Space.icd" or something like that.

i still havent tried it due to elite being back online(wish id thought of it earlier)next time stinger does an upgrade ill give it a go
