that would totally depend on how big it was, and how steep the angle of entry was.
it could burn up, or it could superheat and evaporate the oceans before crashing into the seabed, splitting the crust and spewing millions of tons of vaporized rock up into the atmosphere, while at the same time, sending out a massive super-hot shockwave of air travelling faster than the speed of sound, which in turn would destroy everything in its path.
oh, and did i mention that the millions of forrest fires and volcanic eruptions, along with the now global rock-cloud coverage acting like a giant blanket to keep all the heat from dissapating into space, would superheat the very air we breathe, causing everything on land not destroyed by the shockwaves, tidal waves, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions to simply burst into flame?
i dont think you could build a bunker deep enough...

The other day, in study hall, i farted really loud, you know...so the guys would laugh...and i swear it was so hanus that Susie Johnson almost ralphed up her salsbury steak.

lets all remember tunguska.
anyway people are idiots. There could be an asteroid next the the moon and we wont know. We once discovered an asteroid that had just passed us hours before, and it was the closest asteroid ever to earth yet. So dont be surprised if all of a sudden the world ends because all of the Space Agencies are underfunded and undermanned because of idiots in the political offices getting bjs for 25 dollars and hour with tax.
