i need to rant
it the 30th of august here.

i play ambar. its a really cool tactical game. takes long. and takes place real time, over the net. 1 hr real time is 1 day game time. now, the game doesn't go on forever. each tiem a new game starts, they are called rounds. now, there are things like clans, called empires, limited to about 10 realms, one person can only have one realm in one empire. ther's about 7000 realms in the game. when this game started, i got an empire in just as it started. so i started on the tip of the start line.
i got off solid ground. it was great. i was ranking quite high.. top 100's on score, top 50 on aggresiveness. then, today, i opened 2 portals (portals, you need them to get a passage to other empires to invade) at different times today, one in the afternoon, one just now. the one in the afternoon didn't go too well. but my empire got off without a scratch. just that our gains were very low compared to what we got previous weeks. i dismissed this omen of bad luck as just some random thing. then, just now, i opened one. i opened to one very tough empire. we got a little off, no losses. we tried to close the portal, we need gems to do it. we couldn't. wasted about 5 hrs worth of gems. we scraped together enough for another try. we tried again. this time, it didn't work but no gems were spent(don't ask why) then, one of the tougher guys invaded me. they didn't get too much. but me bein all big headed decided to get more back. i launched my entire army. whether he was cheating or not i do not know. but i do know that my army should have shredded his realm to bits. so i dono about that. so i'm armyless. defenceless for the upcoming 12hrs. somehow, just somehow. they got thru my magical defenses and 1600 thieves, they thieved me. to thieve someone, you have to have more thieves than they have, and 1600 thieves is probably as much as you can get at this stage. yet they got thru. they must have had something like 4000 thieves. cheat? i do not know. but they found out just how much army i had at home. big fat '0'
they hit. with very little yet they started strippin land. it was very bad. land was goin by the second. i had 960acres. each time your successful, you get about 8%. as a guy who retreats when he knows he's gonna die, i sent every resource i had, cash, gems, peons, (population) and food. to others. with taht gone.. i had 1052 peons left. thats all i lost - technically. but you know what?
IT WAS BEFORE THE END OF AUGUST. just before. and i lost my pride and joy in this game. it so totally pisses me off.

now feel very sorry for me. (or just choose to ignore this, i'll live)
Nothing feels better than taking out a bounty hunter with a sunslayer facial (with exceptions)
Nothing feels worse than losing your pride and joy that you spent 1.5 mths building.
