the topic of this site is all lancer games, meaning starlancer and freelancer. anything aside from that is off topic. this forum was created for off topic threads. so, if any thread has nothin to do with any lancer game, then it goes here. thats all there is to it IMO. anything and everythin aside from lancer games fits here, everything else, (SL and FL) goes in respective forums. unless its spam, or anything bad.. i don't see why any thread should be clicked or deleted.

The threads are clicked or deleted because something off of the original topic leads to spam, spam leads to people flaming each other, blah blah.....Its the off topic forum not the spamfest or a flamewar forum. Just my $0.02

Is there a flamewar forum? Sounds like fun!

This topic is off topic. Being in the off topic forum, it needs to be on the topic of being off topic, which it is, so everything's okey-dokey. I think.

...upon further reflection upon this subject, it has occurred to me that any on-topic posts in this forum should be deleted, as not conforming to the standard set for the forum's threads. With that said, this particular post of mine is on topic, so it probably should go.

off topic should be about discussing whatever tickles your fancy, but it shouldnt be just random junk. Think about whether your comments actually should be aired. dont post the first thing that comes into your head or somthing you heard on tv at that moment. it needs to be something that will either educate, entertain or inform. random bull**** like what is usually seen here, religious, political or offensive stuff usually gets locked pretty soon. anything humorus which doesnt need a topic of replies should be aimed at the comical thread.
