only the decent Tom and Jerrys from the 40s, the later ones are pooh! my personal favourite is still "Kitty Foiled" the one where Jerry makes friends with the canary but gets captured by Tom and tied to the railway track and the canary drops a bowling ball onto the track in front of Toms train. pure class. Oh yeah and the one with the circus seal.. genius.
Bugs is brilliant, never a big Daffy fan, still worship Roadrunner and Coyote, love Quick Draw McGraw, Snagglepuss, Futurama, Simpsons, Noggin the Nog, Sir Prancelot, Captain Pugwash, Roobarb, Battle of the Planets, Rocket Robin Hood, Godzilla (& Godzuki) Will o'the Wisp, Droopy, Hair Bear Bunch, Yogi, Valley of the Dinosaurs, Arabian Knights, South park (1st series) oh the list goes on. love the Powerpuff Girls and Tenchi Muyo/Tenchi Universe, any Gundam, Escaflowne ok we're moving into animé now which is another kettle of fish, but I included the last 3 because they're on Fox Kids.
a cartoon I hate: Stargate:Infinity. What's the point of this then? it has no relevance to Stargate at all other than the Stargates, no Go'a'ulds, no SGC, no Captain Picard err General Hammond and even hardened SG fans say its total pooh.
does anyone remember that Czech or Polish cartoon series about a mole? Used to be on after Blue Peter and before the news in that after 5:30 slot if the BBc got fed up of Magic Roundabout or Captain Pugwash. Disappeared altogether when Paddington turned up and terminated him.
Pipkins.. a work of sheer brilliance, ok puppets not a cartoon but I'll watch Pipkins any day. Hartley was a total star (my name is Hartley Hare, let us give 3 cheers , I am very brave, beautiful, ... and I've got big ears..) The sound of the ATV logo always bring back Pipkins and... yes its the quiz of the week.. its Sale of the Century! ah I'm going all misty eyed at the thought of those £5 prizes.
I bet none of you still watch The Aeronauts do you? I managed to pick up the entire collection of Les Chevaliers du Ciel on VHS in France, wonderful dubbing as their Dassault Mysteres crash yet again in some part of Algeria, "ah non Jean-Paul mon ami I am going to pancake, zut alors!" hilarious, those two must have wiped out half the French Air Force by crashing in that desert.
Xeno you've put me into telly nostalgia mode now.
