This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

First you tell us what the problem is exactly. Then we can help you. You're not giving us a lot to work on.

It's saying that it can't find the email server that you specified in your settings.

You kind of seem pretty uncertain about the whole thing so i'll give you a quick run down. Your internet service provider or ISP has a high end computer (known as an email server) that sends and recieves your email on your behalf. When you check your email, your PC will contact the email server and check if any email is waiting for you, If there is your PC will download it.

Now for your PC to contact the email server it needs to know it's address. (It's the same as if you wanted to ring a friend, you will need to know his phone number.) However with computer networks there are millions of these addresses so we prefer to give them names, for example my mail server is called mail.bigpond.net.au

So basically the conversation goes something like this.

My PC: Hey, is anyone out there called mail.bigpond.net.au?
mail.bigpond.net.au: Yeah that's me
My PC: Can I have my mail?
mail.bigpond.net.au: Who are you?
My PC: Im mustang
mail.bigpond.net.au: You gotta password?
My PC: Yep it's ******
mail.bigpond.net.au: Cool, here's your mail.

What is happening with you, is that your PC is trying to contact a mail server that isn't there. The most common mistake is mis-spelling the server name.
If you using Outlook Express check your setting by clicking on the tools menu, then accounts. Highlight your account and then click on properties, you will be able to check and change you mail server name in there.

However, your internet service provider should have given you step by step instructions on how to set up your account. If not, instructions should be on thier web site.

yeah, hes right.

you only need 3 things:
server name,
user name
password

eg:
server: mail.3dactionplanet.com (it'll have mail at the front, thats the one you want, but 9/10 times it'll be real easy i.e. mail.<ispname>.com or something like that)
username: arcon
password: bushwhacka32

What's your ISP's website? I can make you a quick step by step if I know what settings your supposed to have.

You can always go to Hotmail.com and set up an email adress you can check where ever you are.
