SNL descussion

SNL descussion

Okay I have to be honest... SNL hasn't been very funny these last couple of years. I don't get it. The older ones, I think, are better.

My favorite act was the Chruch Chat with the Church lady. That one is hallarious.


If any of you out there watch it... Tell me what you think.

To be honest, I think that some of them are hilarious, and some of them are just plain supid/suck. I especially like the commercial ones (I think) where they make fake commercials and theres no lil skits, just funny commercials...i said commercials a lot

It hasn't been the same since "Space, The Infinite Frontier with Harry Caray"

I nearly lost a lung laughing when Will Ferril first did that skit.

Saturday Night Live. It is a show that is done from New York every saturday.

You probibly wouldn't have heard even the slightest thing about it in the Netherlands.

It was shown here not to long ago, but it stopped.

That was in the age of Yankee talkshows gone mad on TV. I never watched a single episode because I didn't care

I don't think SNL can really be classified as a 'Yankee talkshow', but the 'gone mad' part fits.

Aye, but that's my opinion, like I said I don't give a sick pigeon about talkshows
because I don't see the humour.

Note that I'm not saying it's stupid. that is for you to make up. Btw. The only thing that I found funny and what somewhat resembled a Talkshow were the muppets

Its not a talkshow. It is supposed to be a show where comics have little skits.

Danna Carvey does the Church Lady and is very funny doing it. But Church Chat hasn't been on in a while.

They have a new host every week. Useually the 'new' hit. Like when The Fellowship of the Ring came out, Elijah Wood hosted the show.
