So you like Pirates of the Caribbean do you?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I liked pirates of the carabean, but I dont really understand those thinks

"Twice and Twice shall he be marked,
twice to live and twice to die.
Once the heron, to set his path.
Twice the heron, to name him
true.
Once the Dragon, for remembrance lost.
Twice the Dragon, for the price he must pay."

its a site called hollywood stock exchange, they announce new films there i guess

no

basically, you buy virtual shares in movies like the real stock exchange buys shares in companies. If a film us successful at the box office, its share value rises, however if it flops, the value goes dows. Plus, i think it goes on news coverage as well, so if theres a lot of hype for an upcoming movie, the papers and magazines are gonna be raving about it so the price will rise even before it comes out at the cinema, but if its a flop the price will plummet straight away.

The trick is to look out for sleeper hits. Films that sneak under the radar and make big bucks. You also have to know when to buy and sell. Keep an avid eye on the media to know straight away about upcoming films wich is when films are at their lowest price because if you buy shares in terminator 3 after its been sucessful at the box office, the price will be substantially higher.

its just a bit of fun but its also a good way of teaching people about the stock market and the way shares in companies work.

if you like this idea, i use the BBC's celebdaq which does the same thing but for celebrities. They even show updates and trading tips on BBC3 for hardcore digital TV viewers
