Lancers Reactor hiccuping?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Lancers Reactor hiccuping?

Half the time I try to post a message I get a "timeout expired" error. Many times I have to do a search a couple of times before I get it to finish. I haven't been able to get into the dowloads section for quite awhile. Is the server reaching peak or is my comp just wonking out?

And God said,

And there was light.

Sounds to me like ISP problems.

I live in a "less developed" part of the world -- not to say that the women aren't developed, I mean technology wise -- and the ISPs at times can be absolute crap. I get the timed out message fairly often for that reason. If you look at your internet connection, you may see that the server is doing nothing, no bytes being received or sent. Now in the west, you can just log off and log on again and probably connect with a different mainframe computer. But in my part of the world, the ISP may only have one or two mainframes. It can be especially annoying during the heavy traffic times of the day and on weekends, when all the kids are out of school and playing Ragnarok or whatever it is they play.

Yeah I had this problem with my BT ISP (UK). Then I changed to AOL and that problem was gone.

But I would never advising AOL as an ISP. I can never log on to them about 32k on my 56k modem.

For UK users on a dial-up. Jolt is the best for connection speeds, then comes OneTel. (Jolt i usually 48k - 56k, OneTel is 40k - 56k)

I had the same problem today. It is an intermitten problem. Not sure what causes it. Maybe the elite server swapping involved the forum computer, but I doubt it.

I experienced a little more hiccuping again today, but it was short lived. I had some real hiccups last night too. I tried to make them loud. Ha Ha.
