Since adamantium claws are indestructible, thus the lightsaber cannot destroy the claws. But, the lightsaber can kill the weilder. But truth be told, the adamantium claws can kill the weilder of the lightsaber as well. Thus, whoever strikes first would win. But that is the oversimplified version.
We must first anylyze the properties of a lightsaber, and the effects it has on indestructible material. There are several possibilities:
1: The lightsaber stops at the adamantium claws because the energy of the blade cannot pass through the material.
2: The lightsaber passes through the adamantium claws, but the claws are unaffected.
3: The lightsaber immediately turns off at touching of the claws, as it completely wastes all energy needed during the attempt to destroy the claws.
Assuming of course that both fighters are of equal skill, the first option yeilds a never ending stalemate. The second yeilds a win for the weilder of the lightsaber. The third yeilds a win for the weilder of the adamantium claws.
Thus, the question whether one weapon is superior to the other yeilds no actual result.
