i dont see the point of nick's comments though, i'd like a poster of the enterprise in drydock, unless it wast NCC-1701 in which case i WOULDNT. however i dont think theres any footage of 1701 in drydock so i guess its for the best

it harks back to seafaring naval terminoligy. a drydock being where a ship would be taken out of the water for serious repair/refitting
