Webstory sign-in.

It seems that I was literally about to post a character to the webstory sign up thread, when I noticed it was just closed (It was still open earlier today)

Could I ask if I could still submit my character somehow?

And, in addition, why would the thread still be named "Sign-in here" if nobody else is allowed to sign in?
