Arcon''s eBay Hell

Hello boys and girls, heres a story about arcon and his eBay hell.

Basically i was on the irc channel with 'Conway' and he starts mouthing off about star wars galaxies and..well i'll let the logs tell the story:

<Arcon> its good to know that wile we'll goto war with you guys, you still wont allow EBGames.com to ship to the uk, although you will ship to teh United arab emerates
<Conway> Thats because we can rob the masses greater there for their bread money
<Arcon> you ship EVERYWHERE except the uk..i'm gutted
<Conway> I have no idea why they don't ship, but thats ok the citizens of the USA are standing by on Ebay for your game fixins
<Arcon> no theyre not, yuo assholes dont like to ship to the uk either
<Conway> Well I was considering it cause I need the extra cash

ok so i bought this game from this guy on eBay in the closing seconds of the auction.
Now for all those who have seen what i bought, you'll understand what follows next:

Spending real money on fantasy money is hilarious.

Why don't you try joining a fantasy stock market game on the internet. Once you make fantasy profits then you would have learnt enough from that to make real money on the real stock market.

That's nothing. I read articles from TIME that claimed Korean kids playing Lineage do really stupid things to obtain in-game rare items and currency. Some pay obscene amount of real money for rare weapons, sometimes even sexual favors :O Who said geeks don't get laid?

ROFL!! (learnt that from recusant lol) yup, i know a few insane ppl that actually consciously do that. they give cash to buy these weapons in diablo 2. man.. but credit IN game? man... and how are you gonna load it up if you do buy the game? and how do you know if its actually worth anything in teh game?

Star wars Galaxy is pretty new so with 20000 you will be a big shot in the game mate.

But try out my stock market idea . I like the irony of : someone loses money by spending time on the internet therefore uses the internet to make the money back.

i play fantasy stock market but a british one because thats where I live. My career ambitions are in business and finance so making some of my interests match my ambitions help keep my enthusiasm for working to my goals.
