and were yet to prove that they do, all we have on the subject is some very hazy laws of quntum phyics, which are based on the assumption that a wormhole / black hole, are links in space time, also has anyone herd of a white hole? a white hole is the exact opposite of a black hole (ie the other end of a black hole) this is where all the matter consumeded by a black hole is excreted, so at the center of our universe there must be a white hole from antoher quantum universe that is able to dump matter in to our universe, and at exactly the same rate black holes dump our matter in to other quantum universe, oh that was fun to write, if you dont quite get it then il try 2 explain it to you, but that is my own thoery, which is based on some quntum thoery, a few books by stephen Hawkings and other really smart people.

the reason there maybe a white hole at the centre of the universe is.

1. its formation (enterence in to our quantum plain) would have given out a huge amount of eneryg in some form of big bang.
2. the Universe is growing - so as matter cannont be created from nothing it must be coming from somwhere.
3. There is no way to prove of dis prove this so im right.

That's really interesting. I know quite a bit about black holes, but have never once heard of a white hole. But then again, maybe i need to hit the books more!

umm, just because the universe is expanding doesn't mean we are gaining more matter, just means the distance between galaxies is getting bigger. For example, take a set amount of any kind of gas molecules, say 100. place that 100 in a pop can and you have 100 molecules close together. Now put them into a 2 litre bottle and you get 100 molecules with a much larger space between them.

yeah that accounts for stelar drift, but the nuiverse is also comstantly expanding and as we all know you can from somthing from nothing, so thee must be a point at which new matter is entering the universe.

that white hole idea is crap, black holes arent like wormholes, blackholes dont take matter and spew it out somewhere else, it takes matter and crushes it into a small little block of tightly compacted matter.

anyway, could a solar sail not be on a pivot, so one side is a perfect mirror which would mean they wouldnt move, and then when they wanna move they flip it round to the 'slightly mirrired' side and off they trot. doesnt a solar sail mean that you can ONLY go away from the sun though, meaning the return flight would SUCK!
