Politics

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Politics

Guys, theres been some ignoring of the FAQ, which forbids threads on politics. Please read it!!! For the time being I'm making this sticky, just to make sure it gets burned into your brain. This includes whether you think tic tacs would make a better CIC or whether you think the U.S. should have used force in Iraq. We have these rules for a reason. This particular area has a lot of gray to it. For example, some threads that weren't really politics but were closely related get locked, and sometimes they are worthy of discussion. In this case (and as long as it doesn't become purely political) it may be allowed open, at least by me. By the way, if you're reading this, please take the time to read the FAQ even if you have before. You may learn something new and it will prevent the need for more policing. I'll leave this sticky for a week or two then it will be gone

man.. the guy's bput 4 smileys in his reply.. ones gotta wander about his intentions toward the modder's honoourable statement. btw.. i'm with ya..(sh*t.. forgot which modder it was.. why don't they just post the ppl who've replied in a thread?)

theres a difference here. theres politics as in talking about george bush vs. the liberal party or something like that, and theres politics as in comparing george bush to some breath mints. *sigh* maybe people are taking it too seriously haha

George Bush is politics, no matter what you compare it to.
We've seen topics end up as flame-wars because these kind of jokes. No politics. Period.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The rule cuts back on about half of the material that I can write about, but otherwise I'd destroy my keyboard if I got involved in a debate...

I find it ironic how a post dedicated to forbidding politics has started more political posts.. haha ah good times

but on a separate note, im canadian so the arguments, debates and little controversies of your american political system are completely irrelavent to me (no offense of course) which is why i brought up that little "comparison".

it must suck that ur national leader is the joke of the world hahaha

@Tachyon: Well you got what you wanted, in a way... But (almost) seriously: You didn't really expect some smart ideas/comments, did you?
If I really took politics seriously, and thought about it in any way other than joking/humor, I'd be in a mental institution by now...
