mp3->wav

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

What you need is a RIFF file...
RIFF ("Resource Interchange File Format" is a file format used by Microsoft, typically with the .wav extension (just like WAV files.). A RIFF file can contain various kinds of compression (including MP3) and metadata.
Since Windows takes care of interpreting RIFF files, you can use compressed data in a RIFF file, and applications that don't directly understand MP3 should be able to handle the resulting file (assuming MSWindows has a codec for MP3).
I know a good (and free) program that handles RIFF files, it's called CDex (it is in fact a CD audio extraction tool, but it also does WAV-->MPEG, MPEG-->WAV and MPEG-->MPEG), and you can d/l it here.

Careful what you wish... You might just get it.
