Well it is a class that you attend when you have elective. In remedial classes you go over things that you failed on the test.

What he means is that he wil be able to choose which subjects he will be studying in high school. If you fail some of the subjects on the GEPA test, then the subjects you failed at replace some of the ones that you chose to study.
